Biomechanical Weaves

Serie de dibujos, IA 2024

Biomechanical Weaves explores the interrelation between the organic and the technological through drawings born from a hybrid process where artificial intelligence, digital composition, and manual intervention converge. The series proposes a poetic interlacing in which the human and the artificial brush against, imitate, or merge with one another, evoking new forms of coexistence between the biological and the mechanical.

The works converse in pairs, weaving symbolic narratives: fragile yet mechanical wings striving to transcend the body, human and robotic arms animated by the same vital impulse, roots clinging to the earth while rehearsing a new corporeality, a hybrid beak projecting the instinct of adaptation into the unknown.

The creative process moves between digital and manual stages, from algorithmic generation to graphic composition, from strokes in graphite or pastel to printing on handcrafted papers. Each piece retains the tactile imprint of intervention, carrying a subtle vibration that seems to pulse between the living and the mechanical.

The series reflects on identity in a present shaped by technology, imagining the human body as a territory in constant transformation, open to the artificial as extension and possibility.
