Des-comunicación digital

NFT (2022)

This series of “living” drawings was conceived for tokenization, emerging from the project Dictionary of a Lost Communication and carried from paper into the digital realm without relinquishing its poetic breath. The series invites reflection on human communication as it crosses linguistic barriers, when words unravel and images bear the weight of meaning. Through wordplay and visual metaphors, the works contemplate misunderstandings, silences, and dissonances of language, while rehearsing a new materiality in which the image is activated in digital time and context.

Tokenization is an integral part of the concept, placing the work within a chain of records that reconfigures the idea of the original, expands its circulation, and opens new pathways of ownership and interpretation.

Each drawing preserves the memory of the manual trace while breathing on screen. The intimacy of graphite enters into dialogue with the logic of the archive and the contract, and from this tension between the tactile and the immaterial emerges a reflection on authorship, transmission, and the stewardship of art within networked ecosystems.
